To Dave and the entire Kapacila Family, my deepest condolences. A friendship of over fifty years has been lost. Beginning at Nor-lite Grocery, where Mom worked for Gene at this extremely busy corner store, the first stop for tourists heading north. Then continuing on to buy our Sekine bicycles, and our skates sharpened. Later, supporting my cycling interests, working in the shop for Gene, and ordering my beloved Nishiki Superbe....which by the way, Genes Cycle warranteed a frame replacement after 10 years of hard use..... amazing..!! A trip to PA was rarely complete without a visit to see Gene....his amazing demeanour never changing.... always warm and welcoming. You were one of my favourite people and I will always cherish the friendship we had.
