I had the good fortune and privilege to meet and get to know Dave almost 25 years ago. In that time we shared many fishing trips, family BBQs ,shore lunches and early morning coffees together. I found Dave to be a very kind and generous guy. One who would go out of his way to help...whether it was sharing his last beer or giving you a needed lure which i was sure to loose. like all the men of his family, Dave was a consummate outdoorsman . He was a natural with all types of machinery and often impressed me with his knowledge of history and aviation, to name a few. David's greatest quality's though, were his quiet, easy going nature and genuine honesty. I think Dave radiated these qualities, and in so doing , became a magnet for animals and children. It was a real joy to see him wrestle with his nieces and nephews who would squeal with delight as he tied them in knots. Over the years he became a true brother and I will miss him very much .Thanks for the memories Dave. God bless.
