It is with great sadness that the family of David Bradley Allan announces his passing on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the age of 60.

David passed away at his home in the RM of Garden River, SK.  He was born on December 9, 1962

in Prince Albert, SK to Ian and Marilyn Allan.

David is survived by his siblings Heather Allan (Gary Ellis) of Calgary, AB; Doug (Robyne) Allan of Candle Lake, SK; Greg Allan of Weirdale, SK and his children Thomas Allan of Prince Albert, SK and Ashlie Allan of Saskatoon, SK; Catharine (Curtis) Kosowan and their children Tyson and Carter of Weirdale, SK; his niece Aimee Allan and daughter Zerra of Saskatoon, SK.

He was predeceased by his parents Ian Ferguson Allan of Candle Lake, Marilyn Leona Allan (Zerr) of Prince Albert Saskatchewan and his sister Janice Claire Allan of Prince Albert.

David grew up in the east flat in Prince Albert.  He and his siblings looked forward to spending summers at their grandparent’s cabin at Emma Lake before building the cabin at Candle Lake in 1974.

David worked at Arcade Motors where he made many good friends and had fond memories.  He worked several years with Paramount Paving where they worked hard and played harder.  David then moved to Vancouver and lived with Doug and Robyne where he and Doug worked construction together.  For the past 10 years or so he worked in Fort McMurray where he drove large mining equipment.  In his downtime, he loved spending time with family and friends whether he was hanging out for a beer and smoke or playing you his new favourite song.  He loved to fish and generally spend time in nature.

David made great friends throughout his life.  He was easy going, lots of fun and a kind sweet soul.  David will be forever missed by his family and everyone who knew and loved him.
