Dear Brother Luc,
Your stay on earth has come to an end. You resisted the beast as long as you could, but came a time when fighting was out of reach. Your only recourse was to wait for the call, and in the meantime, live a normal life with Claudette, family, and friends.
Knowing that you had cancer, I called now and then just to chat. Your mind was very much on repairing motors, lawnmowers, old telephones. You spent a long time trying to get your 1970 ski doo to work. I presume that it is now in running condition, and that Claudette will likely use it for her ski doo tours this coming winter.
Luc, you will be remembered for your kindness, your dedication, and your jovial laugh. May you rest in peace!
