Herman and Ruth .... mentors amd supporters at the start of my career. Taught me to be a patient and kind pastor while keeping up my learning and courage. Grandest of men!
Sincere condolences Ruth! I have fond memories of Herman when I was in grade 7 in Leoville. I was part of a public speaking competition and he was the adjudicator. I never forgot the wise advice he gave me.

I regret that I won’t be able to attend the service for Herman but I want you to know that I will be thinking about him and you. I only knew Herman for a short time in North Battleford while he occasionally attended Third Avenue United Church before Covid. We sometimes met in the Coop Mall and latterly at Harwood Manor. He was a true gentleman. I used to tell him I would never forget him or his name as my mother’s maiden name was “French”.
