I have fond memories of visiting the Martens’ home as a child. It was always so welcoming and full of laughter. I remember thinking how cool it was that Walter would take the time to visit with us kids or show us how to fly a kite. In my adult years, it was always a treat to run into Walter and Rosella while shopping in North Battleford. Your day was always better after talking with them for a few minutes. They had such pride while sharing stories of how their kids were doing and showed a genuine interest in your life.
Our thoughts are with you Rosella, Charlotte, Theo, Val, Myron and your families.
